Katosi Community Church

This is a vibrant, Bible-based Evangelical church in the heart of Katosi town.

Welcome to Katosi Community Church

Our Supreme desire is Making the Invisible God Visible by knowing Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We like to think of ourselves as Bible Christians. We draw our beliefs from the Word of God and if the Bible says it we try to practice it. We are a non-denominational church. We desire to work harmoniously with all those who in truth call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

What we believe

  1. We believe that the Bible is the Inspired, Infallible Word of God.
    1 Timothy 4:13, 2 Timothy 3:16,17
  2. We believe that God is worthy of all praise, reverence and love. It is our goal to worship Him with our whole lives as well, whether at home, work, or in church. Colossians 3:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:16, 17
  3. We believe that every believer is called to be an active part of the body of Christ by abiding in Christ through His word, prayer and fellowship and by the yielding of our lives to the Holy Spirit for the equipping and empowering. Ephesians 4:15-16.

  1. We believe that love is the greatest demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ. It is our desire that believers endeavor to show a Christ-like love towards all men. Love should be exhibited in our lives by our presence, by our words, as well as by our actions. John 13:34-35, Philippians 2:3-5, Mark 3:14
  2. We believe that Christian service is a responsibility of all believers. Our goal is to develop the ministry of each member of the body of Christ to the benefit of all. Ephesians 4:11-12, 2 Timothy 2:2
  3. We believe that restoration of family is the key to revival. Our desire is to build strong marriages (one man, one wife) by having strong men building strong homes, a strong home building a strong church, and a strong church building a strong community, and a strong community building a strong nation. Ephesians 5:21-33

Winner's Childrens Home

This is an orphanage home where 456 children receive food, healthcare, education & housing.

CCM-Uganda is greatly inspired by every single Person/family who has said YES towards this noble cause to sponsor these needy children at $40 a month.

Those of you who are being intential about living life on purpose, chosing to make a lasting difference in the life of these children, regardless of the cost, thank you.

Your contribution connects your child with a church based child sponsorship programme that provides:
  • Food&Clean water
  • Medical Care
  • Education
  • Accomodation
  • Most important the sporsored child will hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be encouraged to devolop a life long relationship with God.

There are other children living in terrible poverty; their families strungle to provide the basic necessities available for sponsorship. Your support and generous heart to reach these children with love is greatly appreciated.

Feeding Program

Our children are fed three meals a day.

Education & Sponsorship Program

CCM is reaching out to education children in poor rural & urban localities through our primary and secondary schools. The school staff includes 28 teachers who provide Christian values and academic excellence.

Since 1995, when we opened our school, a number of vulnerable kids have been helped to achieve their academic goals.

Covenant Medical Clinic

The Medical facility takes care of all medical services to the kids in the orphanage home, the school, and the entire community. More medicine and medical personnel are needed.

Glory of Virginity Movement (GLOVIMO)

Pastor Timothy Kakooza and the leadership team promote abstinence through youth programs, camps, seminars, vocational Bible studies and radio talk shows. Children are encouraged to maintain sexual purity and to make Godly life-choices.

Farm/Agriculture Project

We have 22 acres of land, on which we grow corn, beans, cassava, and bananas. This helps in feeding the children at the orphanage home and school. We need more land and a tractor to increase our production.

Poultry & Dairy Farm

We have land on which we need to establish a dairy farm of 20 cows; the cost of each is $900 US dollars. Also needing to be established is a poultry farm of 5,000 laying chickens. Each chick costs one dollar. In faith, we have already built the shelters.

Vocational Training School

Construction of a vocational school to teach skills and vocational subjects. The skill training program will enable our children to take new direction in life. It is envisioned that this training will further improve the standard of living of the children after school and reduce job seeking among the people in the community. We strongly believe the blue collar job is a positive way forward for our people.

Leadership and Discipleship

CCM is committed to training and discipleship through mobile Bible training centers, conferences, retreats and camps. We host believers’ celebration conferences, and pastor/church leader refreshment camps.

Senior Adult Care Operation(SACO)

We lost a generation, as we have children without parents, at the same time we have got Senior Adults without Children. These strungling senior citzens need our help to live a better life. Time and energy are working against them, they cannot dig to get food nor can they work to get parafin for their candles. They don't have income to buy beddings and other necassary basic needs.

Please join us in this campaign of providing better accomodation, feeding, and health care, for better living of the senior adults.

Now & Forever Marriage Events

We believe that strong families build strong churches, and strong churches build strong nations. Through Now & Forever Marriage Events, Pastor Timothy and Janepher teach marriage principles to strengthen marriages.
